Omid McDonald
Chief Executive Officer
Omid is a serial entrepreneur having
founded two successful high-tech companies in Ottawa. His
first effort, VMI Medical, deployed its product into America's
leading cardiac care centers. After achieving significant
growth (30 deployed hospitals), VMI was acquired by Camtronics
Medical (Hartland, WI). Omid's second start-up, Simbit, developed
software for mobile phones. Simbit's software was deployed
on millions of handsets. The company was acquired by Axalto
(Paris, France) in 2005. |

Khaled El Emam
Chief Technology Officer
Khaled is renowned for his experimental work in software engineering.
He has worked at, among others, the National Research Council of Canada and the Fraunhofer
Institute in Germany. He is also an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Canada
Research Chair in Electronic Health Information at the University of Ottawa. Khaled has been
repeatedly ranked as the top software and systems engineering scholar in the world for his
research on software measurement, quality, and process improvement. |

Colin Kingsford
Chief Financial Officer
Colin, a Chartered Account, has been helping companies for our 24 years.
As a "virtual" CFO, Colin provides companies both strategic and operational accounting guidance.
Colin has assisted several successful Ottawa start-ups. The Canadian
Institute of Chartered Accountants has recognized Colin's work with high-tech start-ups. |
